Struggling to lose weight?

If you are struggling to lose weight, there is a good chance you’re making it harder than it has to be. This happens to a lot of people. The truth is, losing weight can be easy. It comes down to these three basic steps:

1. Develop a weight-loss mindset
If you don’t develop the “Weight Loss Mindset”, then you’re never going to experience the success you want. How do you get into the “Weight Loss Mindset”?  Decide right now to start eating right and exercising. The FITworks forum will help you stay connected with likeminded people who are also working hard just like you! We all struggle, and they are there to support you! See yourself as you want to be, NOT how you are now. Find a picture or a dress the size you want to be and hang it where you can see it.

2. Eat to live, don’t live to eat!
We can trick our bodies into letting go of fat by simply making better choices; there’s no need to go hungry! With the right combination and portions you can eat 5-6 times a day. You can eat real food that tastes great AND lose weight! Try some of the hundreds of recipes in our FITworks food section or at Weighing In On Food

You won’t be able to lose weight without exercise. Exercising uses your calories for energy, and helps to burn fat. Lifting weights also builds lean body mass which helps burn even more calories.
